Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) is a government initiative. It promotes national integration and cultural exchange between the different states and union territories of India. The program was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 31, 2015.The program is organized annually in all Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) as a cultural festival. The program’s objectives include:
- Celebrating the unity in diversity of India
- Promoting a sense of national integration
- Showcasing the rich heritage, culture, customs, and traditions of the states
